Our apartment is located in the heart of El Puerto de Santa Maria - a fishing
port whose privileged position around the mouth of the Guadalete river
makes El Puerto the centre of the bay of Cadiz. One of the triangle of sherry
towns (the other two being Jerez and Sanlucar de Barameda), it is famous
for its festivals, tapas and sherry wine. 22kms of Atlantic coastline include
8 beaches of fine, golden sand. It enjoys a very pleasant microclimate with
an average summer temperature of 25°C whilst in winter it rarely falls below
15°C. The unusually clear and intense quality of the light gives the region
its name – Costa de la Luz.
Situated on the second floor, our apartment has a large, private roof terrace
from which to enjoy the views of the town, eat ‘al fresco’ or simply relax.
There is a secure, designated parking space in the underground garage.
