Le Pays de Dinan is ideal for a holiday at any time of the year and with 50 kms of coastline, verdant countryside, rivers and canals, it has something to offer everyone. And of course at its heart is the medieval city of Dinan ‘Ville d’Arte et d’Histoire’.

For those who wish to discover more about the way of life both past and present there are ancient monuments to explore, chateaux and museums to visit.

If you enjoy outdoor activities there is plenty to choose from - golf, fishing, horse riding, swimming, organized walks and excursions, sailing, or the simple pleasures of the seaside.

Visiting the local towns is much more interesting on market day and is simply the best way to buy fresh food. Many of the towns and villages host festivals and concerts each year. The Tourist Information Centre in Dinan will have a calendar of events.

There is a folder in the cottage that contains a lot of useful information - about shops, market days, places of interest etc and recommendations from previous guests about good places to eat and to visit.

There is a bar/restaurant and a boulangerie in the village and a Les Routiers restaurant within walking distance. The nearest supermarket is 5 mins drive away in Plelan-le-Petit.
